This model shows the entire lower limb, from the pelvis to the toes. However, only part of the pelvic skeleton is visible, as the sacrum (os sacrum) is not included.


The model is produced in SOMSO plastic, and is cast from real skeletal parts of an adult man and is therefore extremely lifelike in both degree of detail and size.


SOMSO is world-renowned for very high quality. This means quality materials, a sense of accuracy and a long life. In other words: World-class craftsmanship.


The model is made in life size, has a length of 100 cm and weighs 1.85 kg.

Anatomical features

Anatomically, the model shows the hip bone (os coxae), the thigh bone (femur), the kneecap (patella), the shin bone (tibia), the calf bone (fibula), and all the bones of the foot.



As the bones are produced in such a high degree of detail, the model is ideal for illustrating various osseous landmarks that function as muscle protrusions and attachments, among other things.



In the model's joints, only bone parts are depicted, while ligaments, muscles and joint capsules are not visible.
